Together with her mother Luna, sister Cara, and brother Samurai, Mia entered our house, when she was about 4.5 months old. As the rest of the gang she was really wild, but is a friendly and cute cat now. Like Narla, she absolutely loves it to get wet by someone petting her with wet hands, so she usually waits in the bathroom when she hears the shower running.

In real contrast to her brother and mother she is quite a small cat. But she really loves eating! As well as Abal and Aquarius she is not at all fussy about the composition of her meals (Very different to the others).

We feel that the best food for cats is a fresh prepared raw food, containing a variety of different (more or less fatty) meat sources, a few innards, a really small amount of vegetables, and of course minerals and vitamins.
Margitta Graeve provides a lot of informations about proper cat food.
On the website of Bettina Schmolla you do not only find a good source of information concerning raw food, but also an "easy to use" calculator which makes it easy to calculate the appropriate Ca:P-ratios needed and the contents of fat and water in your food.
If you are interested in a German mailinglist concerning raw food, choose this one, it is a really friendly and informative group: Katzen-Alternativ.
